• Your timer sessions or statistics (these stay on your device)

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics (see section 3 below), but this data cannot identify you personally.

2. Local Data Storage

All your data stays on your device using your browser's local storage (not cookies):

• Timer Statistics: Your completed sessions, weekly minutes, and streak days are stored locally
• App Settings: Your preferred duration and display mode preferences
• A/B Test Bucket: Which motivational phrase you see (randomly assigned once)
• Usage Flags: Whether you've used fullscreen mode (to hide the button)
• Personal Reflections: Your thoughts and notes from completed sessions

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any servers. Local storage is more secure than cookies and doesn't track you across different websites.

3. Web Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how our service is used and to improve user experience. Google Analytics collects anonymous usage data, including:

• Page views and navigation patterns
• General geographic location (country-level, not city)
• Device type and browser information
• Time spent on pages

This data is collected anonymously and cannot be used to identify you personally. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by:

• Store your email beyond our conversation

Our app is designed to be safe for users of all ages. Since we don't collect any personal information, there are no special considerations for children's privacy. Parents can use the Focus Lock guide to help children stay focused during their sessions.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, your data security depends on your device's security measures. We recommend:
